What is Glastonferry?
Glastonferry is a one-day music festival, taking place within the grounds of The Ferry Tavern, Penketh, Warrington.
When and where is Glastonferry?
Glastonferry is taking place on Saturday 1ST July 2023 within the grounds of The Ferry Tavern, Warrington.
What time does the event start and finish?
Doors will open at 1pm and the event with finish at 11pm. Live music will be performed from 2pm until 11pm.
What is the "Running Order"?
This will be announced shortly on this website, and our social media pages.
Is there an age restriction at the Festival?
Yes. The event is strictly for persons 18 years and over.
How do I gain entry into the festival?
You will require your ticket to gain entry. We operate a strict Challenge 25 policy at the venue, so we recommend having valid photographic identification if you look under 25. This operates on both entry and our bars.
Can I bring my own food or drink to the festival?
No person is allowed to bring their own food or drink. However we have a number of food stalls on offer within the festival. In addition to the main pub bar, there are also 'outdoor' bars where you can purchase a selection of drinks.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
You will not be able bring alcohol or leave the event with any drinks, alcoholic or otherwise.
What is 'Challenge 25'
'Challenge 25' basically means if you look under 25 please you will be asked to prove you are at least 18 years old or more. Please do not be offended if we ask you for proof of age when you buy alcohol. A legitimate form of identification must be produced to prove your age. Anyone failing to prove their age may be refused service and requested to leave the event.
Can I bring my own chairs?
The Festival is predominantly a standing event only. We therefore do not allow people to bring their own chairs into the event as it would become a health and safety issue. However, there is limited seating within the event and you're welcome to bring rugs and blankets so you're not on your feet all day.
How do I get to the festival?
Due to their being very limited parking in the area, we strongly recommend using public transport or a taxi to access the festival. The nearest train stations are Penketh for Sankey, Warrington Central, Warrington Bank Quay & Widnes. There are also a number of bus services that service the local area. We will no longer be selling Posh Loos tickets
Can I purchase tickets on the day?
No. There will strictly be no 'on-day' admissions to the festival. Tickets must be purchased in advance of the festival.

Tickets for the festival will be sold online - via this website, and via our ticketing partner - Ticketline
How much are tickets?
£25 General Admission.
Are there facilities for people with disabilities?
Yes. We will have dedicated toilets for people with disabilities. All our stewards will be wearing fluorescent tops and will have been briefed on our facilities for people with disabilities; please ask them for any help or advice you may need. However please note that the event is taking place on a grassed surface throughout. If you have any specific questions on this subject please email info@glastonferry.com.
Will I be searched going into the festival?
Yes. We want you all to have a safe, enjoyable day and we will therefore request each person to be voluntarily searched for any prohibited articles. We reserve the right to refuse any person entry to the event who does not agree to be searched.
Do you have any merchandise for sale?
We will have more information on this nearer to the date.
Will there be any strobe lighting at the festival?
Yes. The lightings effects on stage may display strobes for a short period of time. Please be aware of this if you suffer from any conditions that may be affected by strobe lighting.
Can I leave the festival after I enter with my ticket?
Unfortunately not. Glastonferry operates a no re-admission policy. Once you leave the event after you have entered you can NOT re-enter. Entry can only be gained with a ticket that is fully intact of its stub.
Is there seating at the festival?
There is limited seating, however it is predominantly a standing event.
Can I become at trader?
Yes, we'll consider any traders however you must carry full public liability insurance and your own health and safety risk assessments and method statements. Please email info@glastonferry.com to enquire.
